Rubbermaid Storage Container

It used to be that the standard in the industry for containers was Tupperware, but that's not the case anymore.

Today, if you're looking for quality plastic storage pieces, you'll want to look at Rubbermaid storage containers.

Rubbermaid makes a wide variety of storage vessels, including the more commonly known food storage, but also yard and garden storage containers, cargo containers, under-bed vessels, deck boxes and seats, hampers and even trash cans. The company has branched off into several areas recognizing consumers' needs that others have missed.

The advantages of Rubbermaid are many. Rubbermaid makes storage units that are designed for rugged use. They are typically dishwasher safe, and will last many years. (I say "typically" dishwasher safe since it depends upon the size of the container and whether you can fit the piece inside your dishwasher!)

These containers can go from the tabletop to the refrigerator to the freezer and back again without problem. Best of all, they last!

Personally, I like Rubbermaid storage because they come in a variety of sizes and configurations. The variety packs are quite convenient and come in several sizes, perfect for packing lunch items, leftovers and even complete entrees. Many people like to give them as shower and wedding gifts, since these containers are so versatile and convenient.

Prices for Rubbermaid storage containers are reasonable, you can find a 40 piece food storage container set of both containers and lids for about . For those of us who are budget conscious, it is nice to be able to buy something that will last for years for just a few cents a piece! And did I mention, Rubbermaid pieces last?!?

There are specialty containers also, including things like a bread container, butter dish, cake storage and egg keeper. For those of us who buy in bulk to save a few pennies, Rubbermaid makes bulk containers to keep cereals, coffee and other bulk items fresh.

And if you're concerned about losing your precious Rubbermaid pieces when you send leftovers home with a dinner guest or send lunch to work with your spouse, Rubbermaid makes a line called "TakeAlongs" which are thinner and less expensive. This way if the TakeAlongs don't return home for whatever reason, you aren't devastated.

You can find Rubbermaid storage containers in virtually any department or big box store including Target and Walmart, as well as online.
